Edoni are proud to be the UK’s only ice cream equipment manufacturer. We manufacture out machines in our 20,000 square foot factory complex in Glasgow. With excellent transport links we provide ice cream machines, repairs and machine servicing to long established and new businesses across the UK and Ireland. `

The Edoni family are originally from La Spezia in Italy and our grandfather, Giulio, came to Scotland in 1921.

Although Edoni Refrigeration was incorporated as a limited company in 1972, Giulio started making the ice cream freezers around 1937. His son, Carlo, developed the business further before retiring in 2018 and passing the business onto the third generation, Carlo Paul and Riccardo.

We are privileged to share heritage with, and to work with, some of the finest and award-winning ice cream makers.

Our small team have over 100 years combined experience in manufacturing our machinery and our skilled engineers and craftspeople hand build each piece to our customers’ requirements. From an initial free consultation, we freely share our extensive knowledge, of all aspects of ice cream making (from recipes to processes to hygiene to shop layout or marketing) with our customers.

These values, and the fact that we are a small business, are what sets us apart from our competitors.
